Detailed procedures to follow in case of a weather alert
YELLOW ALERT FOR WIDESPREAD RAIN
- There are no additional prescriptions from the University of Genoa. However, you should keep yourself constantly informed through the official channels.
YELLOW ALERT FOR THUNDERSTORMS
- It is forbidden to stay on the ground floors of the UniGe buildings (except for the library)
- Interruption of in-person teaching activities on the ground floors (including study halls)
- Interruption of all outdoor activities
- Pedestrians and vehicles are not allowed to stop in the outdoor areas of the campus
- Provisions are valid for the whole day
ORANGE ALERT (FOR WIDESPREAD RAINS OR THUNDERSTORMS)
- All UniGe buildings of the Campus are closed
- Interruption of in-person teaching activities
- Interruption of all outdoor activities
- Pedestrians and vehicles are not allowed to stop in the outdoor areas of the campus
- Provisions are valid for the whole day
RED ALERT (FOR WIDESPREAD RAINS)
- All UniGe buildings and outdoor areas of the Campus are closed
- Interruption of in-person teaching activities
- Interruption of all outdoor activities
- Provisions are valid for the whole day
WARNING OF RISK DUE TO WIND
- Do not pass or stop under tall trees
- Use alternative routes without tall trees
- Provisions are valid for the whole day
